And, my 40 days daily devotion blog tailor-made for those who would like to have their daily devotion the first time "Break.Build blog/podcast": http://www.breakbuild.blogspot.ca/

Praise the Lord! I completed my first blog yesterday!

I have been writing a Bible study and my spiritual journal one chapter a day for the past 1,190 days. There are 1,189 chapters in the Bible. There was one day I made a pause because I wanted to encourage more people to join the 24 hours prayer campaign to pray for my ministry. So, this Devotion on Fire blog completed yesterday on DAY 1,190!

After a few months of prayers and fasting I have decided to write a new blog:
Daily Devotion on Fire 2.
This will be a blog helping you to have a deeper daily intimate personal relationship with Jesus and to be able to memorize one golden verse everyday. Those words in the Bible are real spiritual bullets, an effective way to beat Satan. And, if you follow this new blog you will be able to finish reading the whole Bible in two years time (Not like this one, Devotion on Fire, three years and three months), one year New Testament and one year Old Testament.

I am going to start Countdown 9 today Thursday Nov. 22, 2012.  Day 1 will begin after the nine countdown on Dec. 1, 2012. I use my most beloved nine golden verses that I can memorize anytime for so many years as a start.

**NEW link for the 11th 100 days 24 hours prayer campaign(from August 25 to December 03, 2012).

The easiest way is to take one hour slot for the whole week. What you need to do is very simple. Choose one dayThe easiest way is to take one hour slot for the whole week to pray for me, my family and my ministry, remembering the ministry of ACiC(ACiC has two Networks: ACiC, Anglican Coalition in Canada and AI, Asian Initiative). You may use the whole hour in prayer or you can still do you work in your office but use as much time as you can to pray and the other time work prayerfully that hour to pray for our ministry. This campaign is also to teach you that you need somebody to pray for you daily. I have been prayed for hourly the past 1,100 days and I have never experienced this kind of peace and protection before. It's just beyond words can express. If I did not listen and obey to Jesus call 1,100 days ago to start this prayer movement, I think I would be pulled into darkness and discouragement already! I deeply believe that this is a way to draw as many participation as we can in prayers. I encourage you to participate. We need you to join us! Trust in the power of prayers!

Today's Reading: Malachi 4

Bible Study

Malachi concludes his six-part oracle in this chapter with a prophetic warning and promise concerning the coming "day of the Lord". "The day" refers both to Christ's first coming and second coming. The day of the Lord, both his first and second comings to earth, will bring spiritual salvation and freedom for all who receive, love and serve him. When Christ comes for the final time, everything will be made right, and God's people will leap for joy like young calves released from confinement.
Malachi tells God's people that to survive the day of the Lord, they must obey his laws. He prophesies that Elijah would come and minister before the coming day of the Lord. Elijah refers to John the Baptist, who, prepared the way for the Christ.
The future ministry of the coming prophet is described in terms of bringing families into a right relationship with God and with each other.
How do you respond to this special ministry of "Elijah" and "John the Baptist" to bring families into a right relationship with God and with each other uplifting God's word?

My Spiritual Journal

What I got from Jesus today is: Praise the Lord, I have done it!
What I received from Jesus today is a personal encouragement of how I responded to his call three years and three months ago to do this blog. Today Jesus told me that what he called me is exactly what Malachi wanted to say in this chapter, the last chapter of the Old Testament:
To be a John the Baptist preparing ways for Jesus using the Word in the Bible to bring families into a right relationship with God and with each other.
I have seen so many good examples of how people use my blog and then they have a renewal relationship with God and their family members.

Yes, this is a call for each one of us! A call to be a John the Baptist!
A call to prepare the way for Jesus! A call to be alive!

May be this verse(the last verse of the Old Testament) should be your first golden verse to memorize:
He will turn the hearts of the fathers to their children, and the hearts of the children to their fathers; or else I will come and strike the land with a curse.

他 必 使 父 親 的 心 轉 向 兒 女 , 兒 女 的 心 轉 向 父 親 ,免 得 我 來 咒 詛 遍 地 。

Dear Lord Jesus,
Help us to be a John the Baptist to turn one's heart to you and to their family members.  In Jesus Name we pray. Amen.
