DAY 134 - Being enriched in Jesus

Today’s Reading: 1 Corinthians 1

Please read 1 Corinthians 1: 1 – 31 and listen to what the Lord Jesus Christ would like to tell you before reading my Spiritual Journal below. If you would like to learn a simple and good way of Daily Devotion method please read my “Count Down 5” from this blog. You may click this link directly for the method: Subject Shifting Devotion.pdf . (You may begin with a song to praise the Lord and complete you devotion by singing another praise song.)

Please click the links below to 1 Corinthians 1:

For in him you have been enriched in every way – in all your speaking and in all your knowledge – because our testimony about Christ was confirmed in you. 1 Corinthians 1:5-6

How difficult it was for Paul to write a letter to the church in Corinth trying to solve their various problems. Paul started with pointing out the solution of their problems in a positive way. He did this by encouraging them how they had been enriched in Jesus Christ which changed their ways of speaking and thinking.

What I received from Jesus today is that Christians will have less problems and more testimonies if we can be enriched by Jesus in every way. Our way of speaking will change. What we know, what we learn and what we think will change. We will be faithfully sharing the true fellowship with Jesus and with all who have called into His fellowship. It reminds me of the movie “the fellowship of the Ring”!

Dear Lord Jesus,

Help me to be in your fellowship so that I can be enriched by you in every way – my speaking, my knowledge and my all. In Jesus name I pray. Amen.

Bishop: Rt. Rev. Silas Ng

Many wonderful things have happened in the past 100 days. Can we follow our King, our Shepherd, our Lord Jesus Christ to use an hour’s time to pray for His protection and blessings to my new ministry as the Bishop of ACiC/AI, all our ACiC/AI clergy, leaders and people? Pray that in the Holy and Mighty Name of Jesus Christ our Lord, we can win over Satan's tricks, in order to strengthen our brothers and sisters so that His Kingdom will be extended. Please click this new link to participate in our 2nd phase 100 days/24 hours Prayer Campaign (Nov 29, 2009 to March 8, 2010)
