Choose one dayThe easiest way is to take one hour slot for the whole week then prayerfully remembering the ministry of ACiC(ACiC has two Networks: ACiC, Anglican Coalition in Canada and AI, Asian Initiative). You may use the whole hour in prayer or you can still do you work in your office but use as much time as you can to pray and the other time work prayerfully that hour to pray for our ministry. May God be gracious to us and bless us and make his face shine upon us,
that your ways may be known on earth,
your salvation among all nations.
Psalm 67: 1-2
What I received from Jesus today is: How can you know God's plan?
The answer is in verse 1. How close can the light from one's face reflect on another person's face? Under strong Sun light may be six inches. Well, if it is God then, may be one foot away.
So, the famous Moses blessing from Numbers 6: 24-26 is really talking about the closeness of our relationship with God. So close as His light shine on you like the distance of you with a very good friend. That was how Moses face was all shining because God talked to Moses liked a good friend!
"The Lord bless you and keep you;
the Lord make his face shine upon you and be gracious to you;
the Lord turn his face toward you and give you peace."
So, how can you know God's plan? Have a close relationship with Jesus and then He will reveal His plan to you in His time!
What can we do to have a closer relationship with Jesus?
Well, so simple, have a good daily devotion, kneel down to pray more and most of all be willing to become more Christ-like. Then by this close relationship with Jesus He will tell you His plan, sometimes many times daily. Then you need to execute His plan.
Like Jesus wants you to quit smoking, then you quit smoking. Jesus wants to to practice tithing, then you practice tithing. Jesus wants you to open the Bible in the morning daily and be with Him, then you open the Bible and be with Him daily. Is that too difficult to do?
If you can be so close to Jesus daily then I am sure that the light of Jesus will be on your face daily. When people look at you, they will see the light of Christ shining on your face with radiant of the light from Him filling with a very special peace and joy in you. Do you believe that?
Dear Lord Jesus,
Help us to be more close to you that we are able to receive your plan and be willing to listen and obey.
In
Jesus name we pray. Amen.
