The easiest way is to take one hour slot for the whole week. What you need to do is very simple. Choose one dayThe easiest way is to take one hour slot for the whole week then prayerfully remembering the ministry of ACiC(ACiC has two Networks: ACiC, Anglican Coalition in Canada and AI, Asian Initiative). You may use the whole hour in prayer or you can still do you work in your office but use as much time as you can to pray and the other time work prayerfully that hour to pray for our ministry. I deeply believe that this is a way to draw as many participation as we can in prayers. I encourage you to participate. We need you to join us! Trust in the power of prayers!

Today's Reading: Psalm 109

Please read Psalm 109 and listen to what the Lord Jesus Christ would like to tell you before reading my Spiritual Journal below. If you would like to learn a simple and good way of Daily Devotion method please read my “Count Down 5” from this blog. You may click this link directly for the method: Subject Shifting Devotion.pdf. Please click the links below to Psalm 109:

In return for my friendship they accuse me, but I am a man of prayer.
They repay me evil for good, and hatred for my friendship...

May this be the Lord's payment to my accusers, to those who speak evil of me.

With my mouth I will greatly extol the Lord; in the great throng I will praise him.
For he stands at the right hand of the needy one, to save his life from those who condemn him.
Psalm 109: 4-5, 20, 30-31

What I received from Jesus today is: How do you treat your accusers?

Wow, all those sentences with the beginning word of "May" shows how painful, hurt, bitter the psalmist was. Do you have this kind of experience that someone you befriend with accuse you like you are his/her worst enemy? How do you deal with that? Do you really pray like that?

Well, I have been accused, betrayed and "assassinated" many times in the past few years. You know what I did.
First, I tried all my best not to let those bitterness, darkness and pain to destroy my soul and my relationship with Jesus.
Second, I fasted for a few days to sometime 40 days.

You know what happened? I survived! More than I survived, not quitted, resigned but to be able to face more severe "challenges"!

So, if you are now being accused by those accusers sent by the devil, do not be afraid. When the Lord allows this to happen you need to rejoice because you have the opportunity to fight a good fight for Him! Be still and know that God is God, in Him you will prevail!

Dear Lord Jesus,
Help us to trust you and let you to deal with our accusers. In Jesus name we pray. Amen.

**If you are in Great Vancouver area, please try all you best to invite your relatives and friends to come to this Saturday's concert in memory of Rev. Dr. John Stott. I just received an email by Uncle John's secretary, Ms. Francis Whitehead, who worked as his personal secretary for the past 52 years! Here is her email:

Dear Bishop Silas,

It was good to hear from you today and thank you for your kindness in writing to me. Yes, these last months have been times when I missed Uncle John very much, but I remain so thankful for his life and faithful ministry, and rejoice to know that he is now at peace in the presence of the Lord.

I was one of several friends who were with Uncle John the day he died, and I had in fact visited him the previous day and realised that the end was near. We spent the day quietly with him in his room, and it is true that at one point we felt the need for music and put on a recording of the Messiah, but we could not tell whether he was conscious enough to hear it, or to recognise our presence. And of course 'I know that my Redeemer liveth' was part of what we heard, but it is not true that we were actually listening to it when he died, as we had turned the music off about 15 minutes before the end. He died very peacefully, and it seemed that he just stopped breathing.

I am so glad to know that you are putting on this special concert this Saturday in memory of Uncle John, and that you will be conducting the choir. It seems most appropriate that you will be including excerpts from the Messiah, and I trust the concert goes really well - I will be remembering you all in prayer that day.

With all best wishes

Frances
