In vain you rise early and stay up late,
toiling for food to eat - for he grants sleep to those he loves.
Psalm 127: 2

What I received from Jesus today is: You've got a sleeping problem!

I use verse two very often to have a spiritual check up on quite a number of people. My question is very simple, "Do you have a good sleep last night?" Many times when people's answer was that they did not have a good sleep then I asked more questions trying to find out the reason why they could not have a good sleep. The result is always they have some problem in their relationship with Jesus or they do not have a relationship with Jesus!

If you've got a sleeping problem then you really need to ask the Holy Spirit to shine on you so that you can see what happen in your life to block you from good sleep. May be you need to repent from your sins, may be you need to get rid of some bad habits, may be you're OK but you just drank some strong coffee or tea. Only the Holy Spirit can tell you what makes you unable to sleep. You need to claim for God's promise because He promises those he loves can have good sleep!

Dear Lord Jesus,
Help us to claim your promise that we can have good sleep everyday. In Jesus name we pray. Amen.
