The easiest way is to take one hour slot for the whole week. What you need to do is very simple. Choose one dayThe easiest way is to take one hour slot for the whole week then prayerfully remembering the ministry of ACiC(ACiC has two Networks: ACiC, Anglican Coalition in Canada and AI, Asian Initiative). The crucible for silver and the furnace for gold,
but the Lord tests the heart.
A cheerful heart is good medicine,
but a crushed spirit dries up the bones.
Proverbs 17: 3, 22
What I received from Jesus today is: Cheerful heart in the midst of challenges!
I used Proverbs 17: 22 to help numerous people for the past more than ten years. Many people were being free from fear, anger, sleeplessness, insecurity, jealousy and darkness because Jesus gave healing to them through this verse.
Today, Jesus gave me a new perspective to understand this verse. What I heard is that the first part should be 17: 3. We need to understand that the Lord wants to test our hearts and we need to be tested just like gold and silver in the crucible and furnace. It is in that kind of context that when we face with crisis, disaster or even destruction our spirits would not be crushed. It is in this kind of understanding that we can praise the Lord for putting us to the test because only He knows that we are ready and we need to be rejoice in it. Right?!
Dear Lord Jesus,
Help us to be able to have a cheerful heart when we are tested severely. In Jesus name we pray. Amen.
