DAY 52 - Which Group Do You Belong

Today’s Reading: Mark 3

(Please read Mark 3: 1 – 35 and listen to what the Lord Jesus Christ would like to tell you before reading my Spiritual Journal below. If you would like to learn a simple and good way of Daily Devotion method please read my “Count Down 5” from this blog. He appointed twelve – designating them apostles – that they might be with him and that he might send them out to preach and to have authority to drive out demons. Mark3:14-15

Jesus leads me to see two groups of people today:

Group 1 – looking for a reason to accuse Jesus(v.2); stubborn hearts(v.5); get other group of people to plot to kill Jesus(v.6).

Group 2 – Jesus called and come(v. 13)
Three marks(v. 13) – a. Always with Jesus
b. Prepared to be sent by Jesus to witness and preach
c. Have authority to drive out demons

Even so, one out of 12 joined the first group later. So sad!
When I was having devotion with Michelle, my wife, today she said, “That group of people thought that they did that for God. It’s so sad to see this kind of things happening even now!”

Do you know which group you are in? Are you so sure? Why? Do you have those marks if you are in group 2?

Dear Lord Jesus,

Help me to receive those three marks that I can listen and obey to you. In Jesus name I pray. Amen.
