God heard their groaning and he remembered his covenant with Abraham, with Isaac and with Jacob. So God looked on the Israelites and was concerned about them. Exodus 2:24-25
What I received from the Lord today is how He saved and prepared Moses in His very special way. Pharaoh wanted to kill Moses two times and we see the saving acts and protection of the Lord two times. And, how Moses became the son-in-law of a Midian priest that He could have a chance to learn and prepare himself to be a great leader is so wonderfully described.
The Lord reminded me of how He prepared me since I came into this world as His servant and it was such a wonderful experience recalling those saving acts of how He rescued me and all the wonderful preparations. To recall and give thanks for His grace is not easy and to be willing and have the courage to enter into His preparation is even more difficult. Could you spend a moment of silence now to let the Holy Spirit to recall all those memories and then give thanks to the Lord. More important, how are you going to receive the gift of faith from the Holy Spirit to enter into His preparation.
Dear Lord Jesus,
Thank you for saving me many, many times an preparing me to become your servant to extend your Kingdom. Help me to focus on you daily and boldly entering into your preparations. In Jesus name I pray. Amen.
