If you had responded to my rebuke,
I would have poured out my heart to you
and made my thoughts known to you.
Proverbs 1: 23
What I received from Jesus today is: I don't like to respond!
What I heard from Jesus today is that we do not like to respond neither to His voice or to other people's cry. It's because of our habit of not responding we can not enter into an intimate relationship with Jesus just like a good friend pouring out his heart to you and you know him dearly.
Most people said they like to be connected and to have a good relationship with God and other people who God sends but in fact most people do not respond to God's call. It's such a waste!
Dear Lord Jesus,
Help us to be willing to respond to your prompt and call. In Jesus name we pray. Amen.
