The easiest way is to take one hour slot for the whole week. What you need to do is very simple. Choose one dayThe easiest way is to take one hour slot for the whole week to pray for me, my family and my ministry, remembering the ministry of ACiC(ACiC has two Networks: ACiC, Anglican Coalition in Canada and AI, Asian Initiative). You may use the whole hour in prayer or you can still do you work in your office but use as much time as you can to pray and the other time work prayerfully that hour to pray for our ministry. This campaign is also to teach you that you need somebody to pray for you daily. I have been prayed for hourly the past 1,100 days and I have never experienced this kind of peace and protection before. It's just beyond words can express. If I did not listen and obey to Jesus call 1,100 days ago to start this prayer movement, I think I would be pulled into darkness and discouragement already! I deeply believe that this is a way to draw as many participation as we can in prayers. I encourage you to participate. We need you to join us! Trust in the power of prayers!

Today's Reading: Habakkuk 1

Please read Habakkuk 1 and listen to what the Lord Jesus Christ would like to tell you before reading my Spiritual Journal below. If you would like to learn a simple and good way of Daily Devotion method please read my “Count Down 5” from this blog. You may click this link directly for the method: Subject Shifting Devotion.pdf. Bible Study

Habakkuk prophesied to the kingdom of Judah between the time when the Babylonians defeated the Assyrians at Nineveh(612 B.C.) and the Babylonian invasions of Jerusalem (605-597 B.C.).

Chapter 1 to 2 record a dialogue between the prophet and God in which Habakkuk expresses some difficult questions about God's plans, and God responds with some revealing answers. Having seen so much wickedness and perverted worship practices in Judah, the prophet's first question was how God could allow his rebellious people to get away with so many spiritual offenses without being punished.  God answered by revealing how he would soon use the Babylonians to punish the nation of Judah. But that immediately raised another question in Habakkuk's mind: How could God allow a nation even ore wicked and cruel than Judah to punish his people? God answered by assuring the prophet that a time of judgment would also come for the Babylonians.

Do you have similar questions about God's plan deep down in your heart that you do not understand and want to ask? If so, this book will surely help you to know how you should do to deal with those questions.

My Spiritual Journal

What I got from Jesus today is: O Lord, tell me why?
Many years ago when I did not have a daily intimate personal relationship with Jesus I asked many questions challenging God's plan. Why he did that to me? Why he did not do that to me? Why he allowed evil people to wander around? Why this and why that?

But after I had a daily intimate personal relationship with Jesus, I do not need to have those questions. When Michelle had lukemia, I did not ask God why? I did not know whether Michelle would die or not. But I have a total trust in God that when He allowed that to happen He must have His own plan and what I could do is to trust Him totally. That is only a challenge out of many to prepare us to be a better disciple of Jesus.  You must think that as a priest being ordained in 1988 I had a long time daily intimate personal relationship with Jesus. No! I had been a burn-out priest for quite a long time until I listened and obeyed to His command to start this Daily Devotion on fire since July 2009. Before that I thought the preparation of my sermon, Bible study and other studies should be enough and I just needed to have two to three days of daily devotion.

I do not know how many unanswered questions you have from God, but I am sure if you truly have a daily intimate personal relationship with Jesus you would have less and less questions but to receive the challenges from the Lord boldly and bravely.

Dear Lord Jesus,
Help us to be more closer to you each day that we do not need to challenge your plan. In Jesus Name I pray. Amen.
