Follow my example, as I follow the example of Christ. 1 Corinthians 11: 1

Jesus says it very loudly today many times when I read this chapter using just two words:

Follow me!

He challenges me whether I can do three things:

1. Follow Jesus example daily.

2. Set myself as an example for others to follow so that they can follow Jesus.

3. Have the courage to say out loudly: Follow me

Paul states in the last chapter the consequence of following the wrong things: idolatry, sexual immorality, testing the Lord and grumbling. Paul also states clearly some directions in this chapter regarding dealing with unworthy manners in worship. Most Christians thinks they follow Jesus but they don’t need to follow their leaders. How much pride we have to think that we are following Jesus but not our leaders? Why can't you just follow your leaders?!

Dear Lord Jesus,
Help me to set myself as an example for others and have courage to call people to follow me in order to follow you. In Jesus name I pray. Amen.
