Choose one dayThe easiest way is to take one hour slot for the whole week then prayerfully remembering the ministry of ACiC(ACiC has two Networks: ACiC, Anglican Coalition in Canada and AI, Asian Initiative). You may use the whole hour in prayer or you can still do you work in your office but use as much time as you can to pray and the other time work prayerfully that hour to pray for our ministry. Please click the links below to Psalm 57:

They spread a net for my feet-
I was bowed down in distress.
They dug a pit in my path -
but they have fallen into it themselves.

My heart is steadfast, O God,
my heart is steadfast;
I will sing and make music.

Awake, my soul!
Awake, harp and lyre!
I will awaken the dawn.
Psalm 57: 6 - 8

What I received from Jesus today is: Awake, my soul!

When David was writing this psalm he was hiding far back in a cave to escape from King Saul's chasing to kill. That was one of David's darkest hour of his life and yet he could have faith to trust in the Lord that those who dug a pit in his path would fall into it themselves.

Not only that, he could declare that his heart is steadfast and could sing praises to God!

It is so powerful when I heard David saying, "Awake, my soul!"

So many days in my life when I was under attack by some people or facing with difficulties that I could not handle my soul was down and sometimes drown by those water of bitterness and darkness!

The tune of this psalm is "Do not destroy" with the "Awake, my soul" means a lot to me today. The plan of Satan is not only to destroy you life but to destroy your soul! He wants to pull you from heaven to hell! He wants you to leave Jesus, desert your leaders and join the dark force!

How important it is that we learn from David to declare:

Awake! Awake! Awake, my soul! And that we can awake early in the morning to be with Jesus singing praises to Him and listening to Him that our souls will be comforted and our hearts be strengthened!

Dear Lord Jesus,
Help us to be willing to awake in all times to praise you that no one can destroy our souls.
In
Jesus name we pray. Amen.
