Today’s Reading: Matthew 20

(Please read Matthew 20: 1 – 34 and listen to what the Lord Jesus Christ would like to tell you before reading my Spiritual Journal below. If you would like to learn a simple and good way of Daily Devotion method please read my “Count Down 5” from this blog. “Lord,” they answered, “we want our sight.” Jesus had compassion on them and touched their eyes. Immediately they received their sight and followed him. Matthew 20:33-34

Can you drink the cup Jesus drank? Do you know if you say “Yes”, then you may have to experience the painful path that Jesus suffered: betrayed, mocked, flogged and crucified! Have you experienced that yet? I pray that you will not be the one who betray, mock, flog and crucify any of God's servant! When people did that to Jesus, they thought they were doing that for God!

What a big contrast this chapter ended with the opening of the two blind men’s sight and they followed him. What a difference it is that all the apostles didn't see what they should see, a big group of people wanted to crucify Jesus and two healed men could see and wanted to follow Jesus.

What is the difference? I think it is this prayer:
“Lord,” they answered. “we want our sight.” Matthew 20: 33

Dear Lord Jesus,
Please help us to open our eyes that we know what we are doing and that we can follow you.
In Jesus name I pray. Amen.

Our 40 days/24hour Prayer Campaign completed an hour ago(September 28). As this Campaign has successfully uplifted a momentum of prayers, I am moved to continue this Campaign for 60 more days to make it a 100 Days Prayer Campaign. Please click this link to participate.
