"If someone ventures a word with you, will you be impatient? But who can keep from speaking?" Job 4: 2

What I heard from Jesus today is: Right words, wrong timing!

This chapter starts with the comforting words of Job's three friends. It's somewhat like, "Come on, be strong, stand up! God can make the upright and the evil perish!"

Job's three friends already spent three days with him without saying anything. This kind of Band of Brothers spirit was rare. But when Job started to curse his own birthday, his friends wanted to help him by telling him what he should think and do. This is perfectly normal. Everything Eliphaz said in this chapter was alright. But, do you think those words could help Job? There were all kinds of words to explain the WHY issue when someone face with suffering. Why me? Why?

Lots of time we are asking the wrong questions so even we got the answer right it won't do any good!

Dear Lord Jesus,
Help me not to dwell in all kinds of why questions but to experience you presence and love when I got into troubles and suffering. In Jesus Name I pray. Amen.
