"Why has your heart carried you away, and why do your eyes flash, so that you vent your rage against God and pour out such words from your mouth?" Job 15: 12-13

What I received from Jesus today is: Why so angry and judgemental?

It is so sad that the motive of a friend to comfort and help turns out to become anger and judgement. Why Eliphaz was so angry and judgemental? How could that help his friend Job? Could that make him better or worse?

We really need to watch out of anger level and examine our motive when we help someone. We are not God and we can not assume that some one is in sin because something happen to that person. This is self-righteouness and this kind of mentality would only hurt and cause pain! Let's be a true and good friend to listen, care, love and help! And most of all, we need to know our limitation as human beings so we need to try all our best to lead those persons in suffering back to Jesus. Only Jesus can give comfort, strength and healing!

Dear Lord Jesus,
In you we have peace, joy and love. Help us not to be controlled by anger and self-righteous to judge others. Help us to be able to comfort, care and love. In Jesus name I pray. Amen.
