What I received from Jesus today is: The only security is in Christ!
This afternoon I had two very precious hours of sharing with Professor James Houston at his home in Vancouver. I was astonished to receive a very important inspiration from him. Dr. John Stott gave me the most important word in my life: Christlikeness. Dr. Houston gave me the most important sentence in my life: The only security is in Christ!
See how insecure Job was when he could not experience the presence of God. What he was talking about was that if I could have God with me again then everything would be OK. Then he seemed to have a big paradigm shift from his sufferings and anger at God to start to understand that he was being tested, challenged!
Lots of people are trying all their lives to find security in money, people, power, possession, idols, lifestyle and every kind of possible way but never God! But, it's never the answer! That's why there are so many people in the world feeling so insecure! Well, hope you can understand and experience "The only security is in Christ"!
Dear Lord Jesus,
Thank you for being our Savior, our Lord, our King, our God, our Shepherd. Help us to understand and experience that the only security in in You. In Jesus name I pray. Amen.
