The easiest way is to take one hour slot for the whole week. What you need to do is very simple. Choose one dayThe easiest way is to take one hour slot for the whole week then prayerfully remembering the ministry of ACiC(ACiC has two Networks: ACiC, Anglican Coalition in Canada and AI, Asian Initiative). You may use the whole hour in prayer or you can still do you work in your office but use as much time as you can to pray and the other time work prayerfully that hour to pray for our ministry. I deeply believe that this is a way to draw as many participation as we can in prayers. I encourage you to participate. We need you to join us! Trust in the power of prayers!

Today's Reading: Psalm 54

Please read Psalm 54 and listen to what the Lord Jesus Christ would like to tell you before reading my Spiritual Journal below. If you would like to learn a simple and good way of Daily Devotion method please read my “Count Down 5” from this blog. You may click this link directly for the method: Subject Shifting Devotion.pdf. (You may begin with a song to praise the Lord and complete you devotion by singing another praise song.)

Save me, O God, by your name; vindicate me by your might.
Hear my prayer, O God; listen to the words of my mouth.

Psalm 54: 1-2

What I received from Jesus today is: Help! Jesus help!

David was being chased by Saul and cried out to God as recorded in 1 Samuel 22: 9 - 23 and David wrote Psalm 52. Not too long after that he was chased by Saul again as recorded in 1 Samuel 23: 14-29 and he wrote Psalm 54.

The pain and fear of David being chased to kill was somewhat like how Libya's dictator Gadhafi
being chased by rebel forces and killed today. Yet, the difference is that David knew how to call help to God and he knew well that he was protected by God.

I am crying for help these few days too because I am dashing to the finishing line of my five years Doctor of Ministry study at Fuller Theological Seminary. I need to finish my final thesis in two days time and am too tired to do that after working six over-nights the past two weeks!

Help! Jesus help! Do you know to cry out to Jesus during your time of need and danger?
The Lord has given me quite a lot of encouragements around these few days and I think I can get over with this last dash. One of the encouragements was that I received the final result of all the courses with an A- grade just three days ago and I am so thankful for that! Another encouragement was that I received an email of encouragement from Rita who is a member of Bishop Chuck Murphy's special prayer ministry team. There is nothing better that I know my blogs and podcasts can really help someone to be closer to Jesus. I got Rita's permission to cut and paste her email here:

Dear Bishop Ng,

I just had to write you after listening to your podcast today. Although I have been using your
Daily Devotional for a while now, I made the commitment on the first Sunday in October to use it daily and I have to share with you that the Lord has been speaking profoundly through you.

I am a good friend of Anne And Doug Harvey and was with Susan Grayson at
Archbishop Rwaje enthronement in January, you may or may not remember me but just thought to give you a reference point. Also I was a member of the prayer team that ministered to the bishops wives at Winter Conference in soaking prayer.

May the lord continue to anoint you in your calling and pour our Holy Spirit through your devotionals, for the love of Jesus . Lord willing, I will see you at WC. I'm praying and fasting now for WC, as I sense a powerful move of Holy Spirit is coming and even now is upon us. It shouted through to me on your podcasts especially today. It's just Jesus, loving him!

Blessings,
Rita
Help! Jesus help! I do hope and pray that you know this way of calling for help to Jesus that you would experience His presence and protection in the time of need.

Dear Lord Jesus,
Help us and carry us to get through those difficult time of our lives because of our willingness to call for your help.
