O my Strength, I sing praise to you;
you, O God, are my fortress, my loving God.
Psalm 59: 17

What I received from Jesus today is: They kill you, you sing praise!

David used the same tune "Do Not Destroy" as Psalm 57 and 58. He was in the same situation of being chased to kill though different killing. No matter how well you do you still have someone do not like you. No matter how well you serve the Lord and you have done no wrong(v. 4) you still might have someone want to destroy you. Well, many years ago when I was in the similar situation somewhat like David's situation, Jesus told me, "You can not be better than me, out of 12 closest followers I have a Judah. So, don't worry, it's just a challenge for you." His word changed my whole attitude of looking at my crisis of being chased to kill! I become a servant of God ready for this kind of challenges!

Let them be caught in their pride, Lord! (v. 12) I will sing praise to you in all times! You are my fortress and my shield!

Dear Lord Jesus,
Thank you for giving us challenges to experience you as our fortress and shield. Help us to sing praises to you in all times.
In
Jesus name we pray. Amen.

**Thanks for your prayers these few weeks for me to complete my Doctoral thesis. I finished Monday night! Nine chapters, 170 pages! Praise the Lord!
