The easiest way is to take one hour slot for the whole week. What you need to do is very simple. Choose one dayThe easiest way is to take one hour slot for the whole week to pray for me, my family and my ministry, remembering the ministry of ACiC(ACiC has two Networks: ACiC, Anglican Coalition in Canada and AI, Asian Initiative). You may use the whole hour in prayer or you can still do you work in your office but use as much time as you can to pray and the other time work prayerfully that hour to pray for our ministry. This campaign is also to teach you that you need somebody to pray for you daily. I have been prayed for hourly the past 1,100 days and I have never experienced this kind of peace and protection before. It's just beyond words can express. If I did not listen and obey to Jesus call 1,100 days ago to start this prayer movement, I think I would be pulled into darkness and discouragement already! I deeply believe that this is a way to draw as many participation as we can in prayers. I encourage you to participate. We need you to join us! Trust in the power of prayers!

Today's Reading: Micah 1

Bible Study

Micah, from southern Judah, prophesied between 750 - 687 B.C. He lived during the same time as the prophets Isaiah and Hosea.  His message was directed mainly to Judah, though part of his revelation also involved Israel. His message was mainly on God's judgment, also stressed God's mercy and salvation.

Micah put forward the sins of both Judah and Israel in this chapter that both of them were spiritually rebellious nations that had abandoned their faith in God which included worshiping false gods, immorality and all kinds of sinful lifestyle.

The prophecy in verse 7 that God will make Israel(Samaria) a "heap of rubble" was fulfilled in 722 B.C., when the Assyrians completely destroyed the city and confiscated all the wealth gained through ungodliness.

Micah then prophesied that Judah was also guilty and called on certain towns in Judah (vv. 10-16) to mourn in advance for the destruction that was about to come on them.

The main message was that due to their unfaithfulness, stubborn and rebellious they would be carried away into captivity!

My Spiritual Journal

What I got from Jesus today is: Don't be captured! Be Free!
What I received from Jesus today is a warning to all of us not to be captured and live in slavery. The reason for us to be captured like the people in Judah and Israel is always our own sins.  Our own unfaithfulness, stubborn and rebellious leads us into slavery. If it is a nation's sins to lead people into slavery because of the unfaithfulness, stubborn and rebellious, then those who can be in God's Kingdom can get away from that spiritual slavery, yet they would be still living in a captured nation!

I arrived Hong Kong yesterday night. Today's top news in the newspaper in Hong Kong is about someone committed suicide yesterday and the young man was graduated from Cambridge University with a Master degree. Why? That may be the question of so many people in Hong Kong and that's why they want to put that as top news today. How much time, energy, hardship and money will be spent for someone to get into Cambridge University for a Master degree, and yet he took his own life!

Many people have a good background, financially secured and everything seems going well, but many of them are living in depression, darkness, bitterness and hopelessness.  They are being captured by something!

God has been using numerous prophets and many ways until now to give us warning not to be captured and to be free.

Are you being captured by something? Do you know you cannot be captured by anything if you are free in Christ each day?

Dear Lord Jesus,
Help us not to be captured but to be free each day with you as our Lord. In Jesus Name I pray. Amen.
