The easiest way is to take one hour slot for the whole week. What you need to do is very simple. Choose one dayThe easiest way is to take one hour slot for the whole week to pray for me, my family and my ministry, remembering the ministry of ACiC(ACiC has two Networks: ACiC, Anglican Coalition in Canada and AI, Asian Initiative). You may use the whole hour in prayer or you can still do you work in your office but use as much time as you can to pray and the other time work prayerfully that hour to pray for our ministry. This campaign is also to teach you that you need somebody to pray for you daily. I have been prayed for hourly the past 1,100 days and I have never experienced this kind of peace and protection before. It's just beyond words can express. If I did not listen and obey to Jesus call 1,100 days ago to start this prayer movement, I think I would be pulled into darkness and discouragement already! I deeply believe that this is a way to draw as many participation as we can in prayers. I encourage you to participate. We need you to join us! Trust in the power of prayers!

Today's Reading: Nahum 1

Bible Study

Nahum was written between 663 - 612 B.C. predicting the downfall of Assyria's capital city, Nineveh.  Nineveh had once repented of its extreme wickedness and turned to God for mercy in response to Jonah's preaching more than 100 years earlier.  However, the people had returned to their false gods and reverted to their cruelty and oppressive practices. The Assyrians had already conquered the northern kingdom of israel and were now raiding and robbing parts of Judah. Nahum comforts God's people by telling them that God would defend them and destroy the Assyrians. Nineveh's fall occurred in 612 B.C., when it was conquered by a coalition of the Babylonians, Medes and Scythians.

This book tells us that God is extremely patient because he wants to give sinners time to repent.  However, there is a limit to his kindness and patience, those who persist in going their own way will eventually encounter his justified anger and judgment.

What have you received from this chapter about God's grace and the limit to his grace?  What kind of comfort have you got from this chapter if you are facing with some crisis or under attack by others?

My Spiritual Journal

What I got from Jesus today is: Comfort, protect, safe!
What I received from Jesus today are these three words. The meaning of the name Nahum is "comfort". God sent his prophet Nahum to comfort His people in the midst of darkness.

God always sends His servants to comfort us in our dark hours, assuring his protection and that we will always be safe in Him.

Do you feel being protected and you are safe?
How much comfort we can received to be under the total protection of God that we won't be disturbed by insecurity.

You are SAFE!

Dear Lord Jesus,
Help us to be sure that you always want to comfort and protect us and that we can be safe, safe in you. In Jesus Name I pray. Amen.
