Please click the links below to Job 14:

"Man born of woman is of few days and full of trouble. He springs up like a flower and withers away; like a fleeting shadow, he does not endure." Job 14: 1

"You overpower him once for all, and he is gone; you change his countenance and send him away."
Job 14: 20

There is a time for everything, and a season for every activity under heaven:
a time to be born and a time to die,
a time to plant and a time to uproot,
a time to kill and a tie to heal,
a time to tear down and a time to build,
a time to weep and a time to laugh...
I have seen the burden God has laid on men. He has made everything beautiful in its time. He has also set eternity in the hearts of men; yet they cannot fathom what God has done from beginning to end.
Ecclesiastes 3: 1-4, 10-11

What I received from Jesus today is: I want to die!

In the deep pain of his sufferings, Job wanted to die and ask God to take him away.

I have quite a number of similar situation when I visited some people who were in deep pain. They lost all their hope and asked God to take them away! It was so difficult to help those people to get away from that kind of hopeless state.

Jesus led me to those verses from Ecclesiastes above. What I got from the Lord is that we are going to have all kinds of trials, tests and challenges in our life time. Only the daily intimate relationship with God can help us to go through all those moments. Because "he has set eternity in the hearts of men" and that is what eternal life means. Eternal life starts when we receive Jesus as our Savior and Lord. And from then on the Lord is always with you unless you run away from him because of fear, anger, insecurity... Come back to Jesus and you can live and live forever!

Wow! When I finished this post I went to prepare my Discipler123 blog and you really need to read or listen to that post. It is like the 2nd part of this post and the answer to Job's problem.

Dear Lord Jesus,
Help me to be in you that I can conquer every kind of fear because of you. In Jesus name I pray. Amen.
