When they arrived at the house of the Lord in Jerusalem, some of the heads of the families gave freewill offerings toward the rebuilding of the house of God on its site. According to their ability they gave the the treasury for this work 61,00 drachmas (1,100 pounds/500 kilograms) of gold, 5,00 minas (3 tons) of silver and 100 priestly garments.
Ezra 2:68 - 69
Today Jesus asks you another very important question. A question following yesterday's question: Are you ready?
Are you ready to lead the first wave of offering?
The first wave of the offering of the heads of the families was very important. We all want our home church to have a revival, to rebuild everything destroyed by financial crisis, external and internal struggles, misunderstanding, laziness ... and many more. Lots of time the first wave of rebuilding is the first wave offering. Would you be able to be one of those faithful disciples of Jesus to lead this first wave of offering? Make a plan for your freewill offerings according to your ability now!
Dear Holy Spirit,
Come and move my heart that I can be one of those faithful disciples of Jesus to lead the first wave of offering. In Jesus Name we pray. Amen.
