• • • And all the people gave a great shout of praise to the Lord, because the foundation of the house of the Lord was laid. But many of the older priests and Levites and family heads, who had seen the former temple, wept aloud when they saw the foundation of this temple being laid, while many others shouted for joy. No one could distinguish the sound of the shouts of joy from the sound of weeping, because the people made so much noise. And the sound was heard far away.

Today Jesus asks you another very important question: Why can't you worship me like that?

See how God's people worshipped with shouts of joy and weeping. We experienced similar worship at Holy Trinity Church Brompton last week and that was so powerful and real! Shouts of joy, tear, weeping, praising...

Why can't we worship the Lord like that every time we gather to worship Him? Can you lead the first wave of this kind of worship from your heart?

Dear Holy Spirit,

Help us to worship you with all our hearts. In Jesus Name we pray. Amen.
