Please click the links below to Nehemiah 4:

The people in Judah said, "The strength of the laborers is giving out, and there is so much rubble that we cannot rebuild the wall."
Nehemiah 4: 10

"Don't be afraid of them. Remember the Lord, who is great and awesome, and fight for your brothers, your sons and your daughters, your wives and our homes."
Nehemiah 4: 14

When our enemies heard that we were aware of their plot and that God had frustrated it, we all returned to the wall, each to his own work.
Nehemiah 4: 15

Our God will fight for us! Nehemiah 4: 20

What I received from Jesus today is: Why not quit?

Those people were about to quit facing with all kinds of difficulties, oppositions and attack. But Nehemiah gave a important and inspiring short speech to change the whole atmosphere and situation. His message is somewhat like this, "Don't be afraid of those people. It is God you should fear of and if you fear God nothing can be afraid of!"

We are frighten of so many things and so often we want to quit just as those people in this chapter. Why quit? Why you not quit? It is because if we believe and experience our God will fight for us. Why we need to quit?!

Let's "work with all our hearts" (4: 6) and taste the sweetness of unity then there is nothing to be fear of. God is great and awesome! God will fight for us!

Dear Lord Jesus,
Help us to remove all fear believing and experiencing that you will fight for us. In Jesus Name we pray. Amen.
