DAY 32 - Come To Jesus Like A Little Child

Today’s Reading: Matthew 11 (Please read Matthew 11: 1 – 30 and listen to what the Lord Jesus Christ would like to tell you before reading my Spiritual Journal below. If you would like to learn a simple and good way of Daily Devotion method please read my “Count Down 5” from this blog.) Please click the links below to Matthew 11: NIV: Message: “I praise you, Father, Lord of heaven and earth, because you have hidden these things from the wise and learned, and revealed them to little children.” Matthew11:25 We are too complicated! Have you ever worried and burdened when you were a child? I wasn't, for I had a good father. He left us to return to our Heavenly Father, and now I do miss him and miss those time when I had no worry. When did I started to be captured by worries? When I grew up and became more and more mature and learned, then I thought that I was wiser than my father! I was sharing with a pastor a few days ago about our brokenness. We both named the No. 1 killer for pastors is “loneliness”. Why could a pastor be captured by loneliness when he or she should be able to help others to get away from loneliness? What happened? Where is the Father? Where is the little child? I asked a pastoral couple recently, “How often do the two of you pray together? How often do you have devotion together?” The answer was “almost never”! I wish the time will come that every Christian couples will pray and have devotion together daily and that they can be so close to Jesus like children. May their willingness bring them to the protection, enrichment and blessings from Jesus to their marriage, family, ministries and work. Jesus told me just a minute ago, “Don't let the Deceiver to steal you away from me as my little child!” Dear Lord Jesus, Help me to be always so close to you as your dear little child. In Jesus Name I pray. Amen.
