Today's Reading: Job 19

Please read Job 19 and listen to what the Lord Jesus Christ would like to tell you before reading my Spiritual Journal below. If you would like to learn a simple and good way of Daily Devotion method please read my “Count Down 5” from this blog. You may click this link directly for the method: Subject Shifting Devotion.pdf. (You may begin with a song to praise the Lord and complete you devotion by singing another praise song.)

Please click the links below to Job 19:
"His troops advance in force; they build a siege ramp against me and encakp around my tent." Job 19: 12

"I know that my Redeemer lives, and that in the end he will stand upon the earth." Job 19: 25

What I received from Jesus today is: From God my enemy to God my redeemer!

What a big turning point and breakthrough! In the beginning of this chapter Job was under the serious misconception that God directly caused his suffering(vv. 8-22). Job was not aware that it was Satan and not God who caused all his sufferings. And suddenly he had the most outstanding word in the Bible as a firm confession of his faith. Wow! "In the end he will stand upon the earth". " In my flesh I will see God". "I myself will see him"! If not God Himself who could help and lead Job to have that kind of major turning point and breakthrough!

So, next time when you are in suffering, do you think you can pray that the same thing will happen to you to bring you out of darkness into light, out of fear into security, out of anger into calm and out of death into life?

Dear Lord Jesus,
Help us to experience that you are our God and Redeemer. In Jesus name I pray. Amen.
