Today's Reading: Job 36

Please click the links below to Job 36:
Elihu continued: "Bear with me a little longer and I will show you that there is ore to be said in God's behalf." Job 36: 1-2

What I received from Jesus today is: An offer on God's behalf!

Elihu's arrogance and pride as a young man was unbearable! He thought that he could speck on God's behalf and give Job an offer on God's behalf. Have you made that mistake before? Thinking that you are right and you are God's agent speaking on His behalf. I did that always when I was young and if I am not careful sometimes, I am still making this kind of mistake! Can we pray for each others from now on that we will not make this kind of foolish mistake please!

The offer Elihu gave to Job was still the same line of thought: "Job was wrong in something and he should admit his sin and then God would accept him again. If he still kept on insisting that he had not sinned, then he was going to be taken away by God." It's like, "OK Job, last chance. You want to live or die? Confess that you have sinned and you'll live; if not, you'll die."

Dear Lord Jesus,
Help us not to play your role thinking that we can speak on your behalf. In Jesus name I pray. Amen.
