Choose one dayThe easiest way is to take one hour slot for the whole week then prayerfully remembering the ministry of ACiC(ACiC has two Networks: ACiC, Anglican Coalition in Canada and AI, Asian Initiative). You may use the whole hour in prayer or you can still do you work in your office but use as much time as you can to pray and the other time work prayerfully that hour to pray for our ministry. I deeply believe that this is a way to draw as many participation as we can in prayers. I encourage you to participate. We need you to join us! Trust in the power of prayers!

Today's Reading: Psalm 111

Please read Psalm 111 and listen to what the Lord Jesus Christ would like to tell you before reading my Spiritual Journal below. If you would like to learn a simple and good way of Daily Devotion method please read my “Count Down 5” from this blog. You may click this link directly for the method: Subject Shifting Devotion.pdf. Please click the links below to Psalm 111:

Praise the Lord.
I will extol the Lord with all my heart in the council of the upright and in the assembly.

The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom,
all who follow his precepts have good understanding.
To him belongs eternal praise.
Psalm 111: 1, 10

What I received from Jesus today is: Praise, fear, follow!

There are three things that the psalmist wants to remind us of our relationship with God:
1. Praise - Praise the Lord whatever, whenever and wherever you can. People of this age do not know how to appreciate or praise anyone. Or, people praise lots of people and things but never the Lord.

2. Fear - We need to fear the Lord. Who know the fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom? Quite a number of people fear lots of things like death, bankrupt, health etc. but never fear the Lord. Or, many people have no fear to anyone or anything thinking that they can control everything even their own lives!

3. Follow - We need to follow God Himself, His work and His standard. But, people have been following lots of people and things but never the Lord!

Dear Lord Jesus,
Help us to be able to praise you, to fear you and to follow you. In Jesus name we pray. Amen.

**If you are in Great Vancouver area, please try all you best to invite your relatives and friends to come to this Saturday's concert in memory of Rev. Dr. John Stott. I just received an email by Uncle John's secretary, Ms. Francis Whitehead, who worked as his personal secretary for the past 52 years! Here is her email:

Dear Bishop Silas,

It was good to hear from you today and thank you for your kindness in writing to me. Yes, these last months have been times when I missed Uncle John very much, but I remain so thankful for his life and faithful ministry, and rejoice to know that he is now at peace in the presence of the Lord.

I was one of several friends who were with Uncle John the day he died, and I had in fact visited him the previous day and realised that the end was near. We spent the day quietly with him in his room, and it is true that at one point we felt the need for music and put on a recording of the Messiah, but we could not tell whether he was conscious enough to hear it, or to recognise our presence. And of course 'I know that my Redeemer liveth' was part of what we heard, but it is not true that we were actually listening to it when he died, as we had turned the music off about 15 minutes before the end. He died very peacefully, and it seemed that he just stopped breathing.

I am so glad to know that you are putting on this special concert this Saturday in memory of Uncle John, and that you will be conducting the choir. It seems most appropriate that you will be including excerpts from the Messiah, and I trust the concert goes really well - I will be remembering you all in prayer that day.

With all best wishes

Frances Whitehead
