The easiest way is to take one hour slot for the whole week. What you need to do is very simple. Choose one dayThe easiest way is to take one hour slot for the whole week then prayerfully remembering the ministry of ACiC(ACiC has two Networks: ACiC, Anglican Coalition in Canada and AI, Asian Initiative). You may use the whole hour in prayer or you can still do you work in your office but use as much time as you can to pray and the other time work prayerfully that hour to pray for our ministry. I deeply believe that this is a way to draw as many participation as we can in prayers. I encourage you to participate. We need you to join us! Trust in the power of prayers!

Today's Reading: Psalm 113

Please read Psalm 113 and listen to what the Lord Jesus Christ would like to tell you before reading my Spiritual Journal below. If you would like to learn a simple and good way of Daily Devotion method please read my “Count Down 5” from this blog. You may click this link directly for the method: Subject Shifting Devotion.pdf. (You may begin with a song to praise the Lord and complete you devotion by singing another praise song.)

Please click the links below to Psalm 113:

Praise the Lord.
Praise, O servants of the Lord,
praise the name of the Lord.
Let the name of the Lord be praised,
both now and forevermore.
From the rising of the sun to the place where it sets,
the name of the Lord is to be praised.

Psalm 113: 1- 3

What I received from Jesus today is: Hallelujah!

Praise the Lord in Hebrew is Hallelu Yah. You can never imagine how power it can be when we use all we have to praise Him. Psalm 111, 112 and 113 all starts with this word "Hallelu Yah". What kind of powerful momentum the psalmist created in this sequence and how powerful it is when it gets to psalm 113!

An hour ago(Sunday 2:30p.m. now) Michelle and I were having lunch with our church choir members. Our Music Director, Edmund Cheung said, "Silas, I understand what you said about the best thing in last night's Schola Cantorum Emmanuel's concert was "life". I really experienced a powerful outburst of life in all of us when we sang especially when we sang "Hallelujah" and "Worthy is the Lamb/ Amen"." Yes, it was indeed a powerful concert yesterday night. Please click the two links in this post to listen to how we praise God yesterday. The recording was just taken from a small camera and not a good recording. I'll give you the link of our official recording once Andy Li is done for the whole concert. Don't know when yet.

When we praise the Lord like that spirit in this psalm we will know the "life" and power right away of the joy we received when we praise Him! All of our Schola members and those who attended yesterday's(Saturday's) concert felt the same way that we were richly blessed when we richly praised our Lord!

Thanks to our son Ignatius who took a wonderful and powerful photo of me capturing the "life" in this concert and with his comment on his face book:

Live fully. Live passionately.
You know that feeling when you do something you love, and time seems to stand still?
It's not quite clear, but you've lost in the moment of it.

Congrats to Schola Cantorum for singing Handel's Messiah today!

So, Hallelujah! Let us praise the Lord!

Dear Lord Jesus,
Help us to be able to praise you all the days of life. Hallelujah! Hallelujah! Hallelujah! In Jesus name we pray. Amen.
