Praise the Lord.
Blessed is the man who fears the Lord,
who finds great delight in his commands.

Psalm 112: 1

What I received from Jesus today is: Praise, fear, follow!

This seems the continuous part of psalm 111 of the theme, praise, fear and follow. It's not only to follow God's standard and Him but more than that, His commands. Well, you can say that all God's words are His command. But what I received today from Jesus is whether you can hear His command, the gift to discern whether it is His command and the most important stage is whether you are ready to say, "Yes Sir!"

I always think who good can that be if we as disciples of Christ are really like soldiers who have been trained to listen to command and have no problem to obey the command. If a soldier does not obey his superior's command he could face court martial. But most Christians are so used to not obeying God's command.

I am so joyful today because I had four people came up to me today. One told me that he listened to God's command after he heard a sermon preached by me three months ago and he started to use my podcast to have daily devotion. That changed his life these three months. One told me she quitted smoking a few months ago after she heard a sermon preached by me and she was a smoker for more than twenty years! Two came to me and asked me to bless them because they heard my podcast yesterday and knew the importance of blessings! Wonderful! These four brother and sisters showed us a good example of what does it means by obey God's command.
1. They are willing to spend time to be with Jesus everyday through my blog and podcast.
2. They have the daily personal intimate relationship with Jesus that they can listen to Jesus voice. It's really not so difficult to be able to listen to Jesus voice!
3. They are willing to obey God's command. The one who started daily devotion through my podcast told me he has been a Christian for many years but he never successfully to have daily devotion more than two weeks and now he can. The one who stopped smoking was a miracle indeed!

So, where do you find great delight? If you can find great delight in obeying God's command then your whole life will be much different!

Dear Lord Jesus,
Help us to be able to listen to you and to obey your command. In Jesus name we pray. Amen.
