Choose one dayThe easiest way is to take one hour slot for the whole week then prayerfully remembering the ministry of ACiC(ACiC has two Networks: ACiC, Anglican Coalition in Canada and AI, Asian Initiative). You may use the whole hour in prayer or you can still do you work in your office but use as much time as you can to pray and the other time work prayerfully that hour to pray for our ministry. I deeply believe that this is a way to draw as many participation as we can in prayers. I encourage you to participate. We need you to join us! Trust in the power of prayers!

Today's Reading: Psalm 115

Please read Psalm 115 and listen to what the Lord Jesus Christ would like to tell you before reading my Spiritual Journal below. If you would like to learn a simple and good way of Daily Devotion method please read my “Count Down 5” from this blog. You may click this link directly for the method: Subject Shifting Devotion.pdf. Please click the links below to Psalm 115:

O house of Israel, trust in the Lord - he is their help and shield.
O house of Aaron, trust in the Lord - he is their help and shield.
You who fear him, trust in the Lord - he is their help and shield.

Psalm 115: 9-11

What I received from Jesus today is: "Trust" is the key word!

Yes, "trust" is really the key word for everything. But, it's not trusting on other things because God is the only one who can be trusted. I have seen so many ridiculous situations and knew quite a number of people whom I thought can be trusted but later disappointed.

It's always that three temptations of mankind that even Jesus was being tested and he won. But, lots of time we lost!

That three big one: money, sex and power!

We have been tested so many times and we will be tested until the very end of our earthly journey. Trust in the Lord because he is our help and shield!

Trust in the Lord because if we trust in him totally He will bless us beyond what we can think of. There are three "trust" from verses 9 to 11 and there are six "bless"(including the "make you increase" of verse 14 is the same as bless) from 12 to 15.

So, you trust in Him and He will give you "double" blessings! Can you trust in Him?

Dear Lord Jesus,
Help us to be able to trust in you that you are our help and shield. In Jesus name we pray. Amen.

**Three days ago(Sunday) Michelle and I were having lunch with our church choir members. Our Music Director, Edmund Cheung said, "Silas, I understand what you said about the best thing in last night's Schola Cantorum Emmanuel's concert was "life". I really experienced a powerful outburst of life in all of us when we sang especially when we sang "Hallelujah" and "Worthy is the Lamb/ Amen"." Yes, it was indeed a powerful concert yesterday night. Please click the two links in this post to listen to how we praise God yesterday. The recording was just taken from a small camera and not a good recording. I'll give you the link of our official recording once Andy Li is done for the whole concert. Don't know when yet.

When we praise the Lord like that spirit in this psalm we will know the "life" and power right away of the joy we received when we praise Him! All of our Schola members and those who attended yesterday's(Saturday's) concert felt the same way that we were richly blessed when we richly praised our Lord!

Thanks to our son Ignatius who took a wonderful and powerful photo of me capturing the "life" in this concert and with his comment on his face book:

Live fully. Live passionately.
You know that feeling when you do something you love, and time seems to stand still?
It's not quite clear, but you've lost in the moment of it.

Congrats to Schola Cantorum for singing Handel's Messiah today!
