The king of Israel said to Jehoshaphat, "I will enter the battle in disguise, but you wear your royal robes." So the king of Israel disguised himself and went into battle. 2 Chronicles 18: 29
What I received from Jesus today is: Repentance is your only way out!
We as human beings when facing crisis always think of all kinds of way out. King Ahab was perhaps one of the worst kings and the worst king of Israel. Do you think God gave him a chance to return? Yes, in 1 Kings 17 to 19 we see even the prophet of the prophets Elijah could not help him. And this chapter shows that he did not listen to any prophet came from God for they all told him bad thing he didn't want to listen. Micaiah gave him the last warning that he was going to die but he still did not repent but use his own "foolish" wisdom to be in disguise. When God wants someone to die there is no way for that to escape!
Repentance is the only way out!
Dear Lord Jesus,
Help us not to use our "foolish" wisdom trying to escape from your judgement but to repent and return to you. In Jesus name we pray . Amen.
