Today's Reading: Isaiah 62

Bible Study

This chapter is about the day when Jerusalem once again will be filled with God's glory and righteousness. God's people will live within its walls in peace and joy, and all the world will benefit from Jerusalem's place of honor. This day will take place after the Savior returns to earth at the end time.

We never know when that time will come, but our most important jobs as disciples of Jesus are to be watchmen who never stop praying for the establishment of God's Kingdom on earth. Who are the watchmen, they are the prophets, godly leaders and faithful intercessors(prayer warriors) - you!

With more and prayer warriors, everything grows! Without anyone to pray, everything die!

Richmond Emmanuel Church is "on fire" the past year with a growth 360 degree. There are many reasons that this "dream" situation at last happen. One of the main reason is that our weekly church-wide prayer meeting has been growing. From one group of less than 10 people the past ten years to now three groups of more than 30 people!

I come to Pawleys Island, South Carolina for our bi-annual bishops retreat. While all the bishops, staff and Network Leaders are in meeting, all the bishops' wives and national intercessors are praying for us either in a room or at the back of our table! This is one of the many wonderful and powerful DNA of AMiA. The other is our anointed vision and purpose, the 4Rs: Recognizing, Recruiting, Resourcing and Releasing. I am so proud to be one of the bishops of AMiA that we know and practice the power of being prayer warriors!

Would you be willing to join us to be one of God's anointed prayer warriors?
Please join in our 10th 24 hours prayer campaign tomorrow. Wow! I have many of your praying for me, my family, my ministry and ACiC and AI for the past 1000 days. Tomorrow will be day 1001! I have never been that protected and blessed the past 1000 days. In that 1000 days, my wife got leukimia two years ago, I met with many challenges as well as AMiA. Usually I would be quite discouraged and thus losing my momentum to do His Kingdom work in full gear. Because of the prayers, I have been a different person now! Praise the Lord and thank you!

My Spiritual Journal

What I receive from Jesus is: Way of success: be prayer warriors!

What I got from Jesus is the urgency to call more brothers and sisters to become prayer warriors. Most Christians know the importance of prayer. Some Christians are being called to be prayer warriors. The fact is for most churches world-wide, they don't even have a weekly church-wide prayer meeting. Even if they have, it is less than 5% of Sunday attendance. Richmond Emmanuel Church has a Sunday attendance of around 400 and we have only around 30 each Saturday morning in that three prayer warrior groups and that 30 prayer warriors is already good to put REC "on fire"! What if we have 100 weekly?! I think the whole Richmond will be fire up!

This is the time for action, not "talking"!
Do you know the way to success? Be prayer warriors!
The real success is not your success but His Kingdom! If you cease to work for the success of your own kingdom and to work for the success of His Kingdom then true success will come and you will experience the wonderful fruit form that Kingdom success!

Dear Lord Jesus,
Help us to be willing to take action now and become your mighty prayer warriors so that Your Kingdom will be extended. In Jesus Name we pray. Amen.

August 24, 2012).

The easiest way is to take one hour slot for the whole week. What you need to do is very simple. Choose one dayThe easiest way is to take one hour slot for the whole week then prayerfully remembering the ministry of ACiC(ACiC has two Networks: ACiC, Anglican Coalition in Canada and AI, Asian Initiative). You may use the whole hour in prayer or you can still do you work in your office but use as much time as you can to pray and the other time work prayerfully that hour to pray for our ministry. I deeply believe that this is a way to draw as many participation as we can in prayers. I encourage you to participate. We need you to join us! Trust in the power of prayers!
