Today's Reading: 2 Chronicles 10

Please read 2 Chronicles 10 and listen to what the Lord Jesus Christ would like to tell you before reading my Spiritual Journal below. If you would like to learn a simple and good way of Daily Devotion method please read my “Count Down 5” from this blog. You may click this link directly for the method: Subject Shifting Devotion.pdf. (You may begin with a song to praise the Lord and complete you devotion by singing another praise song.)

Please click the links below to 2 Chronicles 9:

But Rehoboam rejected the advice the elders gave him and consulted the young men who had grown up with him and sere serving him...The king answered them harshly. Rejecting the advice of the elders, he followed the advice of the young men. 2 Chronicles 10: 8, 13
We as human beings always want "shoe polishing" words and not Godly advice! The consequence of Rehoboam of not listening Godly advice was to have his kingdom divided losing most of his kingdom.

What kind of people are you? Those listening to "shoe polishing" words or Godly advice?

Dear Lord Jesus,
Help us to be willing to listen to those people you send helping us to discern your will. In Jesus name we pray . Amen.
