The easiest way is to take one hour slot for the whole week. What you need to do is very simple. Choose one dayThe easiest way is to take one hour slot for the whole week to pray for me, my family and my ministry, remembering the ministry of ACiC(ACiC has two Networks: ACiC, Anglican Coalition in Canada and AI, Asian Initiative). You may use the whole hour in prayer or you can still do you work in your office but use as much time as you can to pray and the other time work prayerfully that hour to pray for our ministry. This campaign is also to teach you that you need somebody to pray for you daily. I have been prayed for hourly the past 1,100 days and I have never experienced this kind of peace and protection before. It's just beyond words can express. If I did not listen and obey to Jesus call 1,100 days ago to start this prayer movement, I think I would be pulled into darkness and discouragement already! I deeply believe that this is a way to draw as many participation as we can in prayers. I encourage you to participate. We need you to join us! Trust in the power of prayers!

Bible Study
This chapter is about how could the whole nation of Israel re-enter into a loving relationship with God as the apple of his eye following yesterday's message, so that they could reclaim the spiritual authority they lost because of their rebellious.
Joshua, the high priest, was representing the nation of Israel to God. Satan, the accuser, was there to oppose him indicating that the hindrances and opposition to the temple rebuilding project were coming from Satan. Joshua, as a human and in his own power could not resist Satan. Because he was dressed in filthy clothes that represent his own sin and Israel's sin.
Only God can resist Satan and God rebuked him and gave Israel another chance to enter into that loving relationship with him. Israel was like a "burning stick snatched from the fire," representing Israel's judgment and suffering during the Babylonian exile of over 70 years was coming to an end. God had brought Israel through those sufferings, not to destroy them, but to discipline them. Through difficult and humiliating times, God was teaching his people to re-establish three things in order to be His holy people:
1. Holiness: That's how Joshua as a high priest and as the representative of the whole nation of Israel needed to acknowledge their filthiness and put on a new "rich garments and a clean turban" to receive the Sonship again.
2. Word: Joshua had to lead God's people to "walk in His ways and keep His requirements" then he would receive spiritual authority from God to "govern His house, to take charge of His courts and to have a place to stand" in the midst of God's throne room in heaven, where the angels serve.
The Branch and the seven eyes on that one stone was pointing to the angel of the Lord that is the Messiah - Jesus Christ, the ultimate King of Israel. The Branch would carry our sins and restore our relationship with God and defeat the power of Satan by just one day, referring to the day he died on the cross to pay the full penalty for our sins.
A daily intimate personal relationship with Jesus through the Word of the Bible makes everything happen.
3. Mission: Holiness and the Word leads us so naturally to have the passion and gifts to invite our neighbors to "sit under his vine and fig tree", pointing to our lifelong mission to bring more relatives and friends to His Kingdom. This is to experience what John the Baptist and Jesus says, "Repent, for the Kingdom of God is near!"
Do you know God loves you so much that He is waiting for you to receive this spiritual authority to do God's work?
Holiness, Word, Mission, do you think this is the root of spiritual authority? What do you think is the root of spiritual authority?

What I got from Jesus today is: The root and fruit of spiritual authority!
What I received from Jesus today is a check list of our spiritual lives whether we are spiritually dead, nearly dead or alive.
So many pastors and Christians leaders shared with me of the lack of spiritual authority to do God's mission work. They worked hard but seems ineffective. I think we have the answer here in this chapter.
There are so many Christians still putting on a filthy clothes. And, even more Christians do not have a daily intimate personal relationship with Jesus through reading the Word. The winner is that most long time Christians have not led any relative or friend to Jesus for quite some time! And, we still think that we are having the spiritual authority to do His mission? We are in our own dreams!
You may think that the root is that three words: holiness, Word and mission. I don't think so!
You need to know Satan is trying to stand by you setting traps for you to step in and waiting to accuse you, only Jesus can put him away from you;
And even if you have time to read the Word as a kind of daily devotion, but reading the Word without a daily intimate personal relationship with Jesus can be just study, duty or guilty!
And without holiness, without the real daily intimate personal relationship with the Word, Jesus Christ our Lord, there could hardly be any on-fire mission.

The real root is JESUS! A daily intimate personal relationship with Jesus. If we can get back to the root, then holiness, Word and mission will be the fruit because we live out a lifestyle of Christlikeness with Jesus Christ as our Lord leading us each day!
Dear Lord Jesus,
Help us to get back to the root of spiritual authority that we are willing to be under your lordship so that we can receive true spiritual authority from you to do your Kingdom work. In Jesus Name we pray. Amen.
