The Moses went up to God, and the Lord called to him from the mountain and said, "This is what you are to say to the house of Jacob and what you are to tell the people of Israel: 'You yourselves have seen what I did to Egypt, and how I carried you on eagles' wings and brought you to myself. Now if you obey me fully and keep my covenant, then out of all nations you will be my treasured possession. Although the whole earth is mine, you will be for me a kingdom of priests and a holy nation.' These are the words you are to speak to the Israelites." Exodus 19: 3-6
There are so many Christians including top leaders who still do not believe that we as children of God are able to listen to what God says and can have a personal intimate relationship with God. They think that it happened only in the Old Testament and New Testament times and that now we are just learning God's Words and can have all kinds of un-Biblical ways to interpret the Bible. How sad!
The command from our Lord Jesus Christ for me to write this blog is just one of numerous examples all around the world of how God wants to tell His people that it is not difficult to listen to the Lord and how important it is to establish a daily intimate relationship with God - the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit.
Do you believe that I really have words from the Lord to you through this blog just like Moses had? Do you believe that your constant effort of reading the Bible at least one chapter a day can help and lead you just like how God carried Moses on eagles' wings to bring you to the Lord? Do you believe in the power of prayers and in learning how to pray for other people through my blog? If you do, then you will be able to enjoy life fully and have a purpose to live fully, for you are able to obey God fully and keep His covenant. What is required for you to do are two things just as those in Moses' time as in this chapter:
1. Consecrate yourselves and prepare yourselves for the Lord a kingdom of priests and a holy nation. (v. 6,10).
2. Know your limits and follow God's instructions fully.
Dear Lord Jesus,
Thank you for how you carried me on eagles' wings and brought me to you. Help me to be able to consecrate myself daily and that I know my limits and follow exactly what you are going to tell me. In Jesus name I pray. Amen.

Yesterday, Tuesday July 13, Michelle and I had a most wonderful and blessed 25th Wedding Anniversary! The love of the people of Richmond Emmanuel Church is so wonderful. Hundreds of brothers and sisters have been praying for us daily. We had brothers and sisters preparing dinner for us in the three weeks when Michelle was in the hospital. We are having two sisters preparing dinner for our whole family on every Wednesday and Thursday. And, we had three young couples used a few days to think of the menu, prepare the food Tuesday night till 2 a.m., cook at home and bring a five course dinner to us! They knew that they could not come near Michelle and that we could not have many people in our home, so they just had three come and two of them as waitresses! This "Love" meal surely shows how God loves us and is a wonderful memories of how we are loved by our brothers and sisters!
My son, Ignatius, is in Ethiopia for a three weeks mission. He has been accepted by Regent College to start his Master of Divinity degree program this coming September. Please click this link to read his wonderful sharing: http://21ethiopiandays.wordpress.com/

It’s such a joy to witness the awesome power of the Holy Spirit moving among the Christians here. As we were worshiping at Dukum MKC church, there was so much singing, shouting, dancing, and a glorious exaltation of Jesus. The Holy Spirit is working so powerfully among the people here and no one holds back in worship.
Free. Full-hearted. Open. Jubilant.
That is worship.
Although I did not understand a word they say (with the exception of Jésus), I was worshiping in spirit and in truth. Can you imagine a church made of mud and steel plating, and yet it is FILLED with passionate worshipers who want only to praise God with their whole heart, body, mind, and soul? WOW!
Yesterday we went to visit 2 homes. At the first house we visited a girl and her sister, cousin, and mom...
