When Moses came down from Mount Sinai with the two tablets of the Testimony in his hands, he was not aware that his face was radiant because he had spoken with the Lord. Exodus 34: 29
People like to greet others with, "Wow, you look so well." "You are radiant today. What's happening?" For Moses, his trade mark was a radiant face. Everyone knew that he had a face to face talk to God and it was so bright that he had to have a veil on his face!
The famous Moses' blessing reviews how important it is to have a face to face talk to God. It was impossible in the Old Testament time but it is possible now, for Jesus has come and we can listen to Him and talk to him like an old friend. After day by day of this intimate relationship with Christ, we should experience the light of Christ in our face. When His face shines upon you, then everything will be different. Is your face radiant today?
"The Lord bless you and keep you;
the lord make his face shine upon you and be gracious to you;
the Lord turn his face toward you and give you peace." Numbers 6: 24 - 27
Dear Lord Jesus,
Shine on me that my face can be radiant everyday with your presence and that I will never be in darkness . In Jesus name I pray. Amen.
