"Not one of the men who saw my glory and the miraculous signs I performed in Egypt and in the desert but who disobeyed me and tested me ten times - not one of them will ever see the land I promised on oath to their forefathers." Numbers 14: 22-23
God has a bottom line? Yes, and yet no human beings can know! Even Moses could not know! And even Moses could not enter into the Promised Land!
God promised that He is always with us - Emmanuel. But we as human beings so often do the reverse thing - breaking the promise like an unfaithful spouse and loving other things than God. God said, "How long? How long will this wicked community grumble against me? I have heard the complaints of these grumbling Israelites."
Are you one of the grumbling people, one of the people who do not like to be with God? Or, are you enjoy being with God and loving Him every moment in a day?
Dear Lord Jesus,
Help me to enjoy you presence everyday. In Jesus' name I pray. Amen.
My son, Ignatius, completed his three weeks mission in Ethiopia a few days ago.We are so joyful to welcome him home and know that he experienced God mightily in that three weeks. His one word of experience is "JOY"! Please click this link to read his wonderful sharing:http://21ethiopiandays.wordpress.com/
