But the Lord said to Moses and Aaron, "Because you did not trust in me enough to honor me as holy in the sight of the Israelites, you will not bring this community into the land I give them."
Numbers 19: 12
You might think Moses did 'pretty good', for he dismantled another major attack from his people. But God said, "You can do better! I have given you more power and authority than before but you struck the rock rather then speak to the rock!"
How sad it is when God gives us more gifts, authority, power and strength but we do not have the courage to exercise those new gifts! And, the worst is we don't know that the consequence of not exercising God's authority could be deadly!
Partly obedient is disobedience!
Dear Lord Jesus,
Thank you for anointing me to exercising the gifts and authorities you have given me. Help me to have the courage to exercise those gifts and authorities. In Jesus' name I pray. Amen.
My son, Ignatius, completed his three weeks mission in Ethiopia a few days ago.We are so joyful to welcome him home and know that he experienced God mightily in that three weeks. His one word of experience is "JOY"! Please click this link to read his wonderful sharing:http://21ethiopiandays.wordpress.com/
