The Lord said to Aaron, "You, your sons and your father's family are to bear the responsibility for offenses against the sanctuary, and you and your sons alone are to bear the responsibility for offenses against the priesthood..." Numbers 17: 5 -

Jesus asked me to ask you, "Do you know what God wants you to do?"

This is not a easy question to answer. All ten Anglican Mission bishops had a Bishops' retreat this May in Denver. We invited a world-class church consultant, coaching specialist and Fuller D. Min. professor, Dr. Terry Walling, to lead us for three days so that we start this journey of finding our Major Role. We used three days to draft our Major Role. Then Terry called us on a one-on-one basis two weeks later to have a better version on our Major Role.

You may remember that I was so happy to copy and paste to this blog (around mid-May) the Major Role Dr. Walling helped me to find . But praise to the Lord that I had a two full days coaching at Terry's home in Chico, California just two days ago. He used 15 hours to help me re-think, re-define and re-write our ACiC Mission, Vision, Purpose and a four years strategic plan and also my major role.

Wow! This is so wonderful. Then he is going to have three full days helping our ACiC/AI Leadership Team next Monday to Wednesday in Seattle to make this draft into a final version and announce that in our AGM in October 15, 2010 in our 1st Canadian Regional Conference with Bishop Chuck Murphy as the main speaker.

I do hope that you have a coach to help you to do that. This week is a blessed and powerful week. On Monday in Pasadena California, I went to see Dr. Eddie Gibbs, the Reader and Mentor of my Fuller D.Min. thesis. Then on, I went to see my coach, Dr. Gil, who has been coaching me for the past six years. And then I saw Dr. Walling from Thursday to Friday.

I am now typing this in the Vancouver airport. In two minutes time, I have to get on board the plane with Michelle to Toronto for Confirmation service this Sunday at Toronto Emmanuel church and various meeting there. So, this is the most I can do now and I'll add in the Bible passages and songs when I am in Toronto late tonight at 10p.m.. I am sorry for that, as the internet in my hotel was down yesterday!

Dear Lord Jesus,

Help me to know clearly what you want me to do. In Jesus' name I pray. Amen.

My son, Ignatius, completed his three weeks mission in Ethiopia a few days ago.We are so joyful to welcome him home and know that he experienced God mightily in that three weeks. His one word of experience is "JOY"! Please click this link to read his wonderful sharing:http://21ethiopiandays.wordpress.com/

Welcome! The purpose of this blog is to encourage Christians to have daily devotion - a wonderful and intimate time with Jesus.
There are three reasons for you to use this blog as your daily devotion:
1. A healthy spiritual diet - One chapter of the Bible daily. We really need at least one chapter of Bible daily so that we are well fed.
2. A good example of Spiritual Journaling - What I have committed for 1,189 days(the Bible has 1,189 chapters)to write this daily post is not for teaching purposes but this is my daily spiritual journal - I write down what I hear from Jesus and how I experience His intimate relationship with me each day. I have launched a wide-spectrum research on daily devotion and have found out that there are less than 10% of Christians that are having daily devotion. Out of that 10%, many having daily devotion are doing so because of guilt (they know that they are Christians and need to have daily devotion and feel guilty if they don’t do that), duty (they need to fulfill their duty as a Christian) or study(lots of Christians primarily use their daily devotion as a time to study the Bible). I do pray and hope that you will make up your mind to have a relational daily devotion so that you can have an intimate time with Jesus. I pray that you will write your own spiritual journal as well.
3. An online discipler – One of the reasons that so many Christians do not have daily devotion is because they do not have a discipler. A discipler can help them build up this basic element of discipleship when they first become Christians. The best way for you is to have a discipler to walk with you for a certain period of time so that daily devotion become a good habit. Or, you may have a small group of two to three people to encourage and be accountable to each other so that you won’t stop your daily devotion. I offer myself as your online discipler to walk with you daily to enrich your spiritual journey. So, shall we start this journey with Jesus Christ our Lord now!
