"The staff belonging to the man I choose will sprout, and I will rid myself of this constant grumbling against you by the Israelites." Numbers 17: 5
For the past 22 years I have asked Jesus many times, "When can I get rid of people's constant grumbling?"
Today Jesus gave me an answer at last, "Never! Until they all become my true disciples!"
If God, Moses and Aaron could not get rid of people's constant grumbling, who are we? So, we as Christian leaders should be prepared to face all those grumblings and stand firm. The Lord has His own way to protect us and to make us flourish just like what He did to Moses and Aaron.
The Deceiver's main plan is to pull the trust away from the people to their Christian leaders. And once people do not trust their leaders, everything will collapse later. There had been quite a few times that the Deceiver did this trick to me and there were times when he was nearly successful. The only thing that I do to face this spiritual crisis is to use "spiritual weapons" to fight "spiritual warfare". I pray, fast, ask people to pray and fast... If I did not have the past almost 400 days of 24 hours of prayers by brothers and sisters who love me all through Canada, Hong Kong, China, US and England and maybe some places I don't even know (and I did not listen and obey to continue to have daily devotion and write my "daily devotion on fire"), I think that I could not have stood the big storm when Michelle was in the most critical few weeks. Thank you for your love that you really pray for us and join this daily devotion "movement"! You will be richly blessed by God and be a blessing to many others!
Dear Lord Jesus,
Thank you for giving me an answer to my long asked question. Help me to stand firm in all those grumblings and raise up more disciples for you. In Jesus' name I pray. Amen.
My son, Ignatius, completed his three weeks mission in Ethiopia a few days ago.We are so joyful to welcome him home and know that he experienced God mightily in that three weeks. His one word of experience is "JOY"! Please click this link to read his wonderful sharing:http://21ethiopiandays.wordpress.com/
