Choose one dayThe easiest way is to take one hour slot for the whole week then prayerfully remembering the ministry of ACiC(ACiC has two Networks: ACiC, Anglican Coalition in Canada and AI, Asian Initiative). You may use the whole hour in prayer or you can still do you work in your office but use as much time as you can to pray and the other time work prayerfully that hour to pray for our ministry. Bible Study

This chapter reminds people of how God promises not to destroy Israel completely as he will do to many of their enemies. But, as God gives us a picture of a vineyard, the Israelites will be going through a process of spiritual pruning in order to be fruitful. Or, if they still rebel against God they will suffer punishment like being set on fire and burnt to ashes.
In that day(which will be the end-time), a large group of Jews will accept Christ as the Messiah and will gather in Jerusalem to worship the Lord.

"Sing about a fruitful vineyard:
I, the Lord, watch over it;
I water it continually.
I guard it day and night so that no one may harm it.
I am not angry.
If only there were briers and thorns confronting me!
I would march against them in battle;
I would set them all on fire.
Or else let them come to me for refuge;
let them make peace with me,
yes, let them make peace with me."
In days to come Jacob will take root,
Israel will bud and blossom and fill all the world with fruit.
Isaiah 27: 3-5

My Spiritual Journal

What I received from Jesus today is: To be fruitful of to be burnt!

What I got from Jesus is that we need to accept the spiritual pruning so that we can be fruitful. Saying is easy, but if the spiritual pruning for you are discouragements, failure, attack, sickness, darkness, loneliness and more, what would you say? Do you still have the faith to welcome those pruning?

Jesus gives me a very good example today to be in His position as the one to watch over the vineyard. These lines are just great for us to learn:

I am not angry.
If only there were briers and thorns confronting me!
I would march against them in battle;
I would set them all on fire.
Or else let them come to me for refuge;
let them make peace with me,
yes, let them make peace with me."
In days to come Jacob will take root,
Israel will bud and blossom and fill all the world with fruit.
Isaiah 27: 4-5

Lots of time we won't do all those things but would just be angry, discouraged, disconnected not understanding those people against you God has His own ways to deal with them. Some of them he will punish and some of them will make peace with you.

If we can have the faith to watch, water and guard the vineyard God gives you to attend, then one day it will take root, will bud, blossom and fruitful!

Do you have faith to wait for that day to come?

Dear Lord Jesus,
Thank you for giving us this wonderful picture and secret to do your ministries as a gardener to take care of your vineyard. Help us to have the patience to watch, water and guard your vineyard so that we can one day be joyful to see the harvest. In Jesus Name we pray. Amen.
