The easiest way is to take one hour slot for the whole week. What you need to do is very simple. Choose one dayThe easiest way is to take one hour slot for the whole week then prayerfully remembering the ministry of ACiC(ACiC has two Networks: ACiC, Anglican Coalition in Canada and AI, Asian Initiative). You may use the whole hour in prayer or you can still do you work in your office but use as much time as you can to pray and the other time work prayerfully that hour to pray for our ministry. I deeply believe that this is a way to draw as many participation as we can in prayers. I encourage you to participate. We need you to join us! Trust in the power of prayers!

Bible Study

This chapter talks about how God rescues His people from Babylonian captivity. The act of God's love was shown both in his discipline and his deliverance.

1. God's love and calling(vv. 1-7): God shows His love and blessings to His people. When we go through trouble and suffering, we will never be destroyed because He is with us and we are precious to him.

2. To lead the blind and the deaf out(vv. 8-13): The calling of God's people is to lead the blind and the deaf out from their blindness and deafness. To witness to them that God is the Savior.

3. God's salvation(vv. 14-21): God is going to destroy Babylon to rescue His own people. Then God will do a new thing, which implied the coming of the Messiah.

4. God's people have not called upon Him(vv. 22-25): But at the time of Isaiah's writing the Israelites was not yet relying on God or calling on him for forgiveness and help. If they stay like that they would face destruction and disgrace.

My Spiritual Journal

What I receive from Jesus is: I am doing a new thing!

"See, I am doing a new thing!
Now it springs up; do you not perceive it?
I am making a way in the desert and streams in the wasteland."
Isaiah 43: 19
What I receive today is that history repeats and repeats. God loves His people. His people rebels against God and want to take control. We are being disciplined and then God comes to deliver us from troubles. Then, suddenly our eyes are opened to see God is doing new things!

I do hope and pray that we do not go through this cycle too often and that we listen to the call to join with the Lord to lead the blind out of their blindness and the deaf out of the deafness. And, always enjoy seeing God doing new things and joining Him to do new things!

Dear Lord Jesus,
Open our eyes to see how you are doing new things and lead us to join you to do your new things to help the blind to see and the deaf to hear. In Jesus Name we pray. Amen.
