The easiest way is to take one hour slot for the whole week. What you need to do is very simple. Choose one dayThe easiest way is to take one hour slot for the whole week then prayerfully remembering the ministry of ACiC(ACiC has two Networks: ACiC, Anglican Coalition in Canada and AI, Asian Initiative). You may use the whole hour in prayer or you can still do you work in your office but use as much time as you can to pray and the other time work prayerfully that hour to pray for our ministry. I deeply believe that this is a way to draw as many participation as we can in prayers. I encourage you to participate. We need you to join us! Trust in the power of prayers!

Bible Study

This chapter describes something very unusual and difficult to accept. Right after a total victory on Assyria, Isaiah got a message from God to King Hezekiah that he was going to die.

Instead of filling with joy after the victory, King Hezekiah had to face with another challenge. Before the victory he could face death if Assyria won. After the victory he face with an illness that could not be healed. What kind of "examination" was that from God to this poor king of Judah! What would you do if you were Hezekiah?Would you be full of anger towards God? I think I might be! But, Hezekiah had that kind of faith to plead to the Lord and the Lord gave him two big miracles:
1. The sunlight went back ten steps - No one can explain what really happened here. The only thing we know is that a big miracle concerning with the Sun and the "stairway of Ahaz"(like a clock) happened to give King Hezekiah confirmation of what God was going to do.

2. Hezekiah was being healed!

From what Isaiah told King Hezekiah that he was going to die to his complete healing is something we need to ponder. What kind of lesson did God wanted to give to Hezekiah and why God wanted to give him this kind of hard lesson?

My Spiritual Journal

What I received from Jesus today is: Watch out your pride!

What I got from Jesus is that we really need to watch out our pride. Can you imagine the pride King Hezekiah had of that impossible victory! God gave him a big warning for him to deal with his pride before that pride controlled him. We will know what happen in the next chapter of his not finishing well because he did not get it!

I do hope you get it!

Dear Lord Jesus,
Help us to know how to deal with our pride so that we can enjoy the fruit of success and would not be destroy by our success. In Jesus Name we pray. Amen.
