Choose one dayThe easiest way is to take one hour slot for the whole week then prayerfully remembering the ministry of ACiC(ACiC has two Networks: ACiC, Anglican Coalition in Canada and AI, Asian Initiative). You may use the whole hour in prayer or you can still do you work in your office but use as much time as you can to pray and the other time work prayerfully that hour to pray for our ministry. Bible Study
Isaiah prophesied again on the downfall of Assyria and God's protection and help to those who are willing to repent and conclude with a prophecy of the coming kingdom of God on earth at the end-time. The whole chapter is in three parts:
1. God defends His trusting people (vv. 1-13)
The Destroyer will be destroyed. The immediate application is to the ruthless Assyrians, who soon would be destroyed. Also, it points to the ultimate destruction of the antichrist and to Satan himself.
2. Who will come through the fire of God's judgement(vv. 14- 16)
For those who can come through the fire of God's judgement are:
a. Lives by the standard of God
b. Speaks without deceit
c. Rejects making money by unfair means
d. Refuses to be involved in criminal violence
e. Refuses to think about doing evil or wicked behavior
These people will be under the protection and provision of the Lord.
3. The glory of the coming of Christ at the end-time (vv. 17-24)
"Who of us can dwell with the consuming fire?
Who of us can dwell with everlasting burning?"
He who walks righteously
and speaks what is right,
who rejects gain from extortion
and keeps his hand from accepting bribes,
who stops his ears against plots of murder
and shuts his eyes against contemplating evil -
this is the man who will dwell on the heights,
whose refuge will be the mountain fortress.
His bread will be supplied,
and water will not fail him.

My Spiritual Journal
What I received from Jesus today is: A check list to avoid burning alive!
Do you think you have to go through the "fire" of judgement? Well, I am thinking of two kinds, the first one is that kind of fire happens quite often like crisis, failure, disaster and more. The second kind is when we complete our journey on earth to come before the Lord.
No matter which one we better take a look at the checking list provided by the Lord through Isaiah. How well are you doing in this list?
Dear Lord Jesus,
Help us to be more closer to you that we can be more and more Christlike and that we can pass the check list when the fire comes. In Jesus Name we pray. Amen.
