“When he came to his senses, he said, ‘How many of my father’s hired men have food to spare, and here I am starving to death! I will set out and go back to my father and say to him: Father, I have sinned against heaven and against you…” Luke 15:17-19
People like to say: It makes no sense. You have no sense at all. He has no sense and I don’t want to talk to him.
It’s so easy to think that other people make no sense at all. But here at Luke 15 when the younger son came into sense, everything changed! The older son is the one who really had not come into sense. He has been think all the time that his father is “slaving” him!
Is there anyone in your life that you think is “slaving” you? Is there anyone in your life you are “slaving”? It’s not easy to come to our senses! But we really need to come to our senses that we can enjoy the blessing as children of God.
Dear Lord Jesus,
Help me to come in my senses that I can enjoy to be in your house and in your loving presense. In Jesus name I pray. Amen.
