Today’s Reading: 1 Corinthians 4

Please read 1 Corinthians 4: 1 – 21 and listen to what the Lord Jesus Christ would like to tell you before reading my Spiritual Journal below. If you would like to learn a simple and good way of Daily Devotion method please read my “Count Down 5” from this blog. You may click this link directly for the method: Subject Shifting Devotion.pdf . (You may begin with a song to praise the Lord and complete you devotion by singing another praise song.)

Therefore I urge you to imitate me. For this reason I am sending to you Timothy, my son whom I love, who is faithful in the Lord. He will remind you of my way of life in Christ Jesus, Which agrees with what I teach everywhere in every church. 1 Corinthians 4:16-17

Jesus asked me three things today when I read this passage:

1. How can you be a better father and spiritual father?

2. Do I have a Missional Lifestyle for people to imitate?

3. Which son(s) or daughter(s) can I send to remind people of my way of life in Christ Jesus, which agrees with what I teach everywhere in every church?

How do you answer these three questions when Jesus asks you?

Dear Lord Jesus,
I give thanks to you for giving me a good father and a number of spiritual fathers for the past many years. Help me to be a better father and spiritual father that I can live out what I teach and preach to glorify your Holy Name. In Jesus name I pray. Amen.
