Bible Study

This chapter shows that Jeremiah truly spoke God's word because all the doom he predicted had become a reality. This chapter is almost identical to 2 Kings 24: 18 - 25: 30.

The whole nation of Israel was being totally destroyed at last because they were stubborn and unfaithful! We need to watch out our DNA of stubbornness and unfaithfulness. There is no way out for us as human beings. The only way out is Jesus because only in Jesus can we change our sinful DNA of stubbornness and unfaithfulness!

My Spiritual Journal

What I got from Jesus today is: It's over! The end!

When I heard "It's over! The end!" from Jesus now, I feel so emotional on how sad God's people could not finish well. Even for so many faithful servants and prophets of God warning them but they did not listen or listen by not obey.

We as human always thinks that God will give us a second chance and we take it for granted of our "millions" of second chances! And when the word "It's over! The end!" come someday, no one can be able to reverse it!

So, let try our best to follow Jesus daily that we can finish well!

Dear Lord Jesus,

Help us to receive a warning from you today that you have your bottom-line. Help us not to take your grace for granted. In Jesus Name we pray. Amen.
