Bible Study

Ishmael killed Gedaliah believing that Gedaliah had supported the cruel way the Babylonians treated former King Zedekiah. He also murdered 70 of 80 pilgrims trying to get their supplies and money.

Ishmael did not fear God or desire to do what was right and he failed to recognize that the Lord would one day judge his actions and punish him because of his evil did.

We can see what a mess it was when God's servant was gone and people were away from God. It was such a mess!

My Spiritual Journal

What I got from Jesus today is: Such a mess!

When we are disconnected from God and servants of God, what we might experience would be a big mess. And yet, because our eyes would be blinded at that time we won't even know we are in a big mess!

We need to connected to God and His servants as often as we can to avoid that kind of big mess!

Dear Lord Jesus,

Help us to be with you and your servants that we can avoid a big mess. In Jesus Name we pray. Amen.
