Bible Study

This chapter shows how God commanded Ezekiel to perform some particular actions to symbolize the fall of Jerusalem and the resulting exile. The model of the siege, the iron pan symbolize the unbreakable strength of the Babylonians, the laying on the left side for 390 days and on the right side for 40 days, the making of bread using cow manure. Terrible, terrible warning from God to His people through Ezekiel! Terrible prophesy! But, they were still stubborn and rebellious!

You never can imagine how God can do to those who are stubborn and rebellious in order to save them! At least their children if they did not want to be saved!

Do you think you are that stubborn and rebellious? You don't think so, right?
No, we are human and we are all stubborn and rebellious!

My Spiritual Journal

What I got from Jesus today is: God's way to do with stubborn and rebellious!

What Jesus told me today is how stubborn and rebellious we really are. I am so painful today as I read and watch all those news about the Denver shooting in the cinema showing "Batman"! How can a handsome, wise medical student do that kind of brutality? I am so painful to see what have we as in the image of God can become! An image of the real Devil!

President Obama said today is a day of darkness and challenge. Indeed it is!
Jesus is the light of this world! Without Jesus, we can't image what kind of darkness we will enter into. We have today's chapter from Ezekiel as a glimpse!

There are lots of people out there in that kind of darkness. Don't sit there comfortable in your home, your church doing nothing! Lead them to the light, the Light of the World! Jesus is Lord! Without Jesus we will be in total darkness!

Dear Lord Jesus,
Help us to do away with our stubborn and rebellious nature that we can be more teachable and faithful to follow you and to be more like you. You are the light of this world. In Jesus Name we pray. Amen.

I invite all of you to have a one minute silence to pray for the families of those victim who lost their family member today now! And pray for this 24 years old young man that someday he will know that he is wrong and repent!
